Her origins are largely unknown to anyone but herself as she's done much to cover up her past.
She obviously has had some ninja training allowing her to fight with virtually anyone. If that were not bad enough for anyone that crosses her path, she has had training in a vast array of weapons, explosives, and a suit that increases her physical abilities, and defense.
In her past she has worked as a spy, a double agent, an assassin, an interrogator, and a guard for assorted organizations gradually making a name for herself, and making a fortune in the process, but she has not been hired by Cobra, nor G.I. Joe as of yet.

Costume Information: Her suit contains a variety of gadgets including disc based weapons, micro servers to boost her strength, and endurance. Her suit is made from assorted armored materials allowing her to withstand some weapons fire with varying degrees of success depending on where she was shot and by what. Her helmet allows her to see in varying conditions, and is warded against inhalants. Her suit also contains security systems that prevent anyone from removing it without her consent. There is extra equipment for her suit, but it's usually only equipped as needed.
She wears a sub suit that adds little to her physical abilities, or durability compared to her fully armored suit, but carries multiple combat discs of her own design that have varying uses.
Special Gadgets: Her suit's gloves and boots have a mechanism that employs "Van Der Waals Force" allowing her to climb sheer surfaces, and get the drop on her foes from varying angles.
Her typical firearm is a modified p-90 with an extended, silenced barrel, and dual clip slots that can be used to double her ammo capacity, or use clips with different bullet types with modes selected by a switch on the weapon. I.E. A clip of conventional rounds, and a clip of knockout rounds, or 100 rounds of either.
As let on before she has access to assorted types of ammunition including, but not limited to full metal jacket, hollow point, jacketed hollow point, lead, mercury tipped, knockout rounds, rubber bullets, etc.
She carries a secondary firearm, usually a Glock 18 with an extended clip which is capable of using the aforementioned ammo types, and comes with a silencer option.
She carries a very well made machete the length of a short sword, a trench spike, and has claws built into her gloves and boots, and an assortment of thrown projectiles.
Of note she also carries a sonic knife that uses variable speeds of vibration to increase it's cutting ability.
